As a dedicated fan of AMC’s The Walking Dead, I’ve quite often wondered why we never see any cats. Larger animals, such as horses and cows, can be trapped and devoured by zombie hordes, so their absence makes sense. And we have seen dogs appearing in a wild state. However, we have not glimpsed at least one Felis catus, even though they are certainly faster and more maneuverable than the undead, and could easily survive on wild rodents.
To satiate this nagging question, albeit in a “if felines could wield automatic weapons” manner, here’s an exceptionally funny video from filmmaker and VFX artist Michael Tivikoff.
